The University of Kansas Class Banners have been carried during commencement since the first commencement of 1873. Although some banners have deteriorated, been stolen or damaged by floods, the majority of the banners have been preserved. Original banners that are not available for display here were replaced by the classes at anniversaries such as the 25th or 50th reunion.
